Privacy policy

This policy is about this website, shiftville.com. It explains what we collect when you visit it or ask for early access, and what we do with it. It does not cover the Shiftville app that workplaces use to run their schedules.

When you ask for early access, we get what you type into the form: your name, your work email, your business name and town, and anything else you choose to fill in (how many people you schedule, how you schedule today, a message). With it we also receive your IP address, the country it comes from and your browser's user agent, which we use to keep out spam.

The form also tells us how you found the site: the first page you landed on, the site that linked you here, any campaign tags in that link, and the page you sent the form from. Your browser keeps that in its own storage on your device, and it only reaches us inside a form you send.

When you browse, we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects things like the pages you view, how you arrived, your general location, and your device and browser. When an early-access request goes through, we record that a lead came in; what you typed is not sent to Google Analytics.

To reply to your request and talk with you about Shiftville, to keep spam and abuse off the form, and to understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own advertising.

• Cloudflare hosts this site and runs the service that receives the form. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is sent by a person and not a bot.
• Google provides Google Analytics, and the email inbox where early-access requests arrive.

We keep early-access requests while we're talking with you about Shiftville, and delete them when you ask us to. Google Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account.

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that stops Google Analytics from collecting your visits. Clearing your browser's site data also removes the record of how you found us.

This site is for businesses and the people who run them. It isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
