The schedule, the time clock and the timesheet. One app for teams paid by the hour.
Build the week, publish it to every phone, and turn the hours people actually worked into an approved payroll file. For restaurants, shops, clinics and anyone else who staffs by the shift.
Runs in the browser on any phone or computer. Nothing for your team to install.

We read what people say about the scheduling apps they use.
Reviews from managers and employees at restaurants, clinics, shops and warehouses. The same complaints kept coming up, so we built Shiftville around them. These came up most, and here is what we did about each.
“The app froze and my punch never went through.”
A punch is saved on the phone first.
With no signal, the clock-in is kept with the time it happened and sent when the phone is back online. Sessions on a personal phone stay signed in, so nobody is typing a password at the door.
How it works“Somebody changed the schedule and nobody knows who.”
Every change has a name and a time.
Each shift keeps its history field by field. A published week can be locked, and unlocking it needs a reason that stays on the record.
How it works“You can't schedule a shift past midnight.”
An overnight shift is one shift.
10 p.m. to 6 a.m. is scheduled, clocked, and paid as one shift, with overtime counted on the right day.
How it works“I can't see my hours until the paycheck shows up.”
Hours count up while you work.
Employees see the week's total including the shift they're on, and each day broken into worked time, breaks and overtime.
How it works“There's no way to ask for a time card fix.”
Employees can ask, managers approve.
An employee proposes the right times and a reason. The manager approves it into the timesheet, and the request stays attached to the punch.
How it works
Clocking in takes one tap, and it still works in the walk-in cooler with no signal.
- A punch is never lost
- No connection? The punch is saved on the phone with the time it happened and sent as soon as the signal is back.
- A geofence that doesn't lock people out
- Set a radius around each site. Choose whether a punch from too far away is blocked or allowed and marked, and see on a map where each punch was made.
- Phone, kiosk or computer
- Employees clock in from their own phone, or from a shared tablet at the door with a PIN and an optional photo. Each way can be switched on or off.

Know what the week costs while you're still building it, not when payroll runs.
- The cost of the week on screen
- As you add shifts, the week's wage bill updates, split into regular, overtime and double time for each person.
- Against a budget, or against sales
- Set a weekly budget, or type in projected sales and a labor target percentage. Shiftville shows how far over or under the schedule is.
- Planned next to actual
- Beside the scheduled cost sits what the time clock actually recorded for the same week, so you can see where the plan and the floor went apart.

From punches to a payroll file without retyping a single hour.
- Approve, and the week is locked
- Employees submit their week, managers approve or send it back. An approved week keeps the pay rates it was signed off at.
- Overtime by your rules
- Weekly overtime, daily overtime and double time, each switchable, with your own thresholds and the day your work week starts.
- Fixing a punch leaves a trail
- A manager can add a missed punch or move one, and has to give a reason. Employees can ask for a correction, and the request stays on the record.
